This program will utilize a verified run-walk method developed specifically for the most novice runner. This 8-week program works towards the goal of participants completing their first 5K or improving upon a previous 5K performance.
Individuals will begin their program by learning basic concepts of form and technique. Gradually you will add mileage and speed just in time for your race. Your final week will conclude with a certified 5k race.
When does my membership begin?
The first day of your membership begins when payment has been received. You will receive a confirmation email once your activation occurs. Your SCRR Membership Card will be shipped to the address provided within 14 business days.
When does SCRR meet?
Currently SCRR meets three times per week; Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. Please view our calendar of events for specific dates, times, locations and details.
