This program will utilize a verified run-walk method developed specifically for the novice runner. This 8-week program works towards the goal of participants completing their first 5K or improving upon a previous 5K performance.
Individuals will begin their program by learning basic concepts of form and technique. Gradually you will add mileage and speed just in time for your race. Your final week will conclude with a certified 5K race.
After you join SCRR, sign up here to get on the Ucan2 registration list. If you are already a member, you only need this signup link. You must be 18 or older to participate in any of our coached programs.
When does my membership begin?
The first day of your membership begins when payment has been received. You will receive a confirmation email once your activation occurs.
When does SCRR meet?
Currently SCRR meets four times per week; Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings. Please view our calendar of events for specific dates, times, locations and details.
