Ucan2 5K Training Program

This program uses a verified run-walk method developed specifically for the novice runner. This program works towards the goal of participants completing their first 5K or improving upon a previous 5K performance.

Individuals will begin their program by learning basic concepts of form and technique. Gradually you will add mileage and speed just in time for your race. Your final week will conclude with a certified 5K race.

For the Fall 2018 program, we will be training our participants for the Hot Toddy 5k on November 17th. Participants are responsible for their own registration to the race (SCRR discount is available on the Members Only Perks page).

When does my membership begin?

The first day of your membership begins when payment has been received, and ends one year later. You will receive a confirmation email once your activation occurs.

When does SCRR meet?

Currently SCRR meets three times per week; Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings. Please view our calendar of events for specific dates, times, locations, and details. Ucan2 will have the chance to attend these SCRR runs (details provided when you register).
